I adore this time of year when the crunchy leaves turn beautiful colours of reds, browns, oranges and golds. The harvest season is full with the most scrumptious vegetables and warm tasty food is everywhere to be seen giving me that wonderful cozy feeling. I recently visited my local pumpkin patch. It is so handy that it is so close to my family’s home in Surrey, England. Crockford Bridge farm is such a cute place to visit and such a lovely way to explore autumn in the fresh crisp air amongst the pumpkins.
I really love celebrating the wonderful seasons and fully embracing the little things in them that make it so special. Supporting local businesses and directly picking out my own vegetables brings me such joy. Oh if I could live on a farm and have my own personal pumpkin patch, I would. Now that would be a dream! Crockford Bridge Farm displays their pumpkin patch so quirky, with hay bales, sweetcorn, sunflower props and beautifully illustrated pumpkins dotted around the patch. I am excited to illustrate and carve my pumpkins this weekend with Thomas just in time for Halloween. It was so lovely to see such a variety of different types of pumpkins.
